First case is already duplicate of bug #3573, so lets focus on the second.
If you know what older version of Wine the app worked, you probably can do a
regression testing and to find offending patch:

That would be a really informative bug report.  More, give us please a link to
download the SuperPI app and tell us its version used in your test.  Thanks. :)
