It still didn't work though but I guess that is because of a different problem. I also want to mention that with the Sacred 2 installer I also get an error message at the end (aborted by the user) which I also reported in bug #18565 BUT there it REALLY failed because it never asked for the second disk and the error is about the second disk anyway, so this one is a different bug - therefore own bug posted. The installation of the demo crashed at the end. After quiting the "Setup succesful" screen. But I do not know if this is the same problem as with the full version of the game. Tested with wine-1.5.15

With wine-1.5.13, this installer has an error before completion. With wine-1.7.29-57-gfbf2557, it completes successfully. While I can't be sure it's the same bug, given that OP hasn't responded and (at least) a similar issue was fixed, I'll assume this was. If it's still an issue in current wine, feel free to reopen.
