http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23058 Summary: Lorex Client remote viewer blank screen Product: Wine Version: 1.2-rc2 Platform: x86 URL: http://lorexstore.lorextechnology.com/pdfs/LorexClient _L19WD.zip OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Keywords: download Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: dank(a)kegel.com Lorex is a popular brand of video surveillance system. It has a downloadable, installable client app to show you video. ff917c438214b467e824e8ff1852007a0b5ed13e *LorexClient_L19WD.zip 55ec9179794afd149f5da8dc2bc6616d084e76ee *LorexClient.exe (It also has a built-in web server which needs an ActiveX control, probably very similar.) The downloadable client installs, and its main window displays, but if you click on Remote View, all you get is a blank window. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Still happens with wine-1.7.0. Problem also happens when viewing a local .hm4 file; clicking on Player and selecting high or low speed PC brings up a blank window, and the log message fixme:avifile:AVIFileExit (): stub! Tried adding an avifil32 verb to winetricks and doing 'winetricks avifil32', but that didn't help. (Perhaps codecs are missing.) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23058 --- Comment #4 from Dan Kegel <dank(a)kegel.com> 2013-08-23 23:00:27 CDT --- Created attachment 45710 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=45710 tar -j of +relay,+text log I'm starting to think this is a really old school win32 app with some stupid gdi32 or user32 problem... if you look at the relay log, you see lots of drawing of label text, e.g. trace:text:DrawTextExW L"Camera 16", 9, [(484,364)-(584,388)] 00040180 but none of it shows up in the window. So the bug seems to be a simple visibility problem of some sort? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
