I downloaded different hobbyist (unofficial) builds and don't see the problem. There is an SVN with complete source (http://lavalit.com/index.php?action=svn) but going through process compiling this stuff just to find out there is no problem would be a waste of time. Please specify exactly what app version of OpenBOR you use and from where did you get the _binary_ package (sha1sum the OpenBOR.exe)!
