In particular "UMW2" does not fit into field 4 as shown below. XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-4444-XXXX This is similar to bug# 9924, which is closed. Applying the winetricks or dpi workaround described there does not work for me. I am running Ubuntu 8.04 (2.6.24-19-generic) @ 1680x1050. This is the first time I use wine. Indeed, in some games, entering CD-Key is not possible (the fields are too narrow). Some games are not limiting the number of characters in each field, they are just checking if the character won't get out of the text box (so, the wider box, the longer text you can type into).
