Well, if you already know that Wine is doing the wrong thing, and you understand
C well enough to fix it, then we'd appreciate your patch to fix the problem :) 
If you have a patch that fixes it, just attach it to this bug.  I'm happy to
discuss possible fixes with you here, via mail or on wine-devel(a)winehq.org.
