Webcams in general are supported, but bugs exist. What program are you running? What version of Wine? Can you please attach a log with WINEDEBUG=+quartz?
Webcams cannot be used in VRChat Symptoms Any webcam cannot be enabled in VRChat, displaying selfie expression disabled webcam incompatible or in use by another app,however, the camera is detected normally. Unfortunately, I can confirm this issue happens to every version of Wine (up to the most recent one). My best guess after gathering information on VRChat blogs about this issue is that the core issue is likely the VRChat AVProVideo plugin failing to use the webcam because of some unimplemented API function in the Media Foundation (mfplat) framework.
