[Bug 19524] New: War in the Pacific: Admiral's Edition: game hangs on starting any scenario
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19524 Summary: War in the Pacific: Admiral's Edition: game hangs on starting any scenario Product: Wine Version: 1.1.26 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: onlineguy(a)gmx.de Steps to reproduce: - Start War in the Pacific: Admiral's Edition (version 1.00.79) - Choose Scenario game option - Select any scenario - Hit start scenario button What happens: the progress bar while loading the scenario will stop at about 70 or 80 percent. Wine crash window will open in background, the loading screen will persist hide all other windows. A reboot is required to get rid of it. I tried this on my Fujitsu Amilo M 7400 laptop (Centrino) with Ubuntu 9.04 and 1 GB RAM. Same behavior as before, I'll attach a new log. Graphics card is Ati Radeon 3870, I use the proprietary driver. Wine 1.1.42 ubuntu 10.04 amd64 winetricks: d3d9 quertz msxml all version no visible mouse in meny at start-up, yet after returning to menu after being in-game, mouse is visible. Ok speed.
