Russian (Cyrillic) are shown as question marks ("?"). Recipients confirm that they receive it as question marks on their side. On Windows XP text sends correctly (so, it's not game's issue). IIRC this does work in Engligh locale in e.g. StarCraft 2, which is also by Blizzard.
