WoW Client crashes without any error and in wine Console i get the attached error output. Looks not very helpful eh? I simply selected pulseaudio instead of ALSA and disabled driver emulation in the sound section of winecfg. i discovered the problem by running: wine Wow.exe &> WowERR.txt after the crash, WowERR.txt read: err:alsa:ALSA_XRUNRecovery underrun recovery failed. prepare failed: Input/output error ogram Files/Blizzard/WoW/World of Warcraft/Wow.exe: pcm_pulse.c:198: pulse_pointer: Assertion `pcm->stream' failed. hope this works for others experiencing the issue. ive had the game running for around an hour, with no problems whatsoever. It seems to only happen when it's outputting sound. It also seems to happen when switching between other programs.
