Can someone please shed some light on this, preferably sooner than later. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14893 --- Comment #2 from Lee Marshall <leeguy92(a)googlemail.com> 2008-09-21 16:40:52 --- HAH, i've squashed it. for me anyway. I simply selected pulseaudio instead of ALSA and disabled driver emulation in the sound section of winecfg. i discovered the problem by running: wine Wow.exe &> WowERR.txt after the crash, WowERR.txt read: err:alsa:ALSA_XRUNRecovery underrun recovery failed. prepare failed: Input/output error ogram Files/Blizzard/WoW/World of Warcraft/Wow.exe: pcm_pulse.c:198: pulse_pointer: Assertion `pcm->stream' failed. hope this works for others experiencing the issue. ive had the game running for around an hour, with no problems whatsoever. A note: i have to use DirectX mode. if i use opengl mode in the game, the map and all text on the screen disappears as soon as i enter a building. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

The same error occurs whether I use hardware acceleration or not for the audio. Spotify can run perfectly for a random time before this happens. 1 minute to several hours. It seems to only happen when it's outputting sound. It also seems to happen when switching between other programs. About 30 seconds before Spotify crashes, I can hear a clicking sound in the music. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
