Still a problem.  To repeat:
  rm -rf .wine
  sh winetricks vcrun6 wsh56
  wine cscript
or, to see the banner it's trying to print,
  wine cscript | cat
or 
  wineconsole cscript
(though the latter is useless since it's in a separate
window that disappears immediately).

Is there any reason WriteConsole shouldn't work when writing
to bare streams?
