Wine doesn't support native ie6. It depends on a lot of native stuff that wine can't support. I tried $ rm -rf ~/.wine in terminal window see below
************************************************ rayburke(a)rayburke-desktop:~$ rm -rf ~/.wine rayburke(a)rayburke-desktop:~$ ***************************************************
but when I click on to i.e 6 shortcut and statrted to load i.e6 it came back saying the same as before??
You'd need to reinstall it, that gave you a fresh wineprefix.
should this be loaded as a "sudo rm -rf ~/.wine"???
