This occurs in both the Windows XP version and the Windows Vista/7/8/10 version. Steps to reproduce: 1. Navigate to the game's directory. 2. Well I found out interesting thing. The website has this text "Does the Game Crash when you start it? If the game crashes upon starting it, this is most likely due to that it displays the window in a font that is too big for your your desktop. You can solve this by creating a shortcut to the game (right-click and select “create shortcut”), on the shortcut you can then adjust the font size to a smaller one by right-clicking the shortcut, select “properties” and then select the “font” tab and do your adjustments." I don't know if it's related at all. But I tried to double click the exe and it starts with no issues from dolphin. With the Windows XP version of The Ground Gives Way, I was able to double-click the exectuable and I saw the game's main menu. Using the terminal command "wine The_Ground_Gives_Way.exe" I had a crash on launch and the backtrace is from when I tried to run the game via terminal. Backtrace: =>0 0x10006c38 in pdcurses (+0x6c38) (0x0032fd74) pdcurses is somekind of layer between console/x11 multiplatform.
