The game dies when I use the mouse wheel. Note that the crash happens at the menu screen too. You can switch weapons with they keyboard and not experience a crash. Can someone experiencing this crash try to run it like this: cd FarCry/Bin32 winedbg FarCry.exe Wine-dbg>b *0x37001342
On my system the crash does not happen when setting this breakpoint. Without the breakpoint it crashes at 0x37001376 when using the scroll wheel.
I can confirm it does not crash then... I've run a small test with FarCry 1.40 and different versions of Wine. The problem described in the first post was gone in 1.1.15 already.

Retesting never hurts if you have the time. My experience was that the bug was not related to any specific hardware other than pointing devices with scroll-wheel type functionality.
