Please upgrade to a recent Wine version. If you don't know how to do this visit WineHQ user forums and get help there (http://forum.winehq.org/). The app works pretty well here. I created a demo account and logged into some brokers. $ sha1sum mt4setup.exe 344e51b31043d481cfa39e7ab222e6c51ee7565e mt4setup.exe $ du -sh mt4setup.exe 476K mt4setup.exe $ wine --version wine-1.7.16 Regards -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35906 Ali Akcaagac <aliakc(a)web.de> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |aliakc(a)web.de --- Comment #11 from Ali Akcaagac <aliakc(a)web.de> --- I confirm this bug to be present on Fedora 20 with Wine 1.7.13. This is because MetaQuotes made some heavy changes to MetaTrader 4 Build 625+ (actually 628) which causes this issue. The MetaTrader 4 Forum has various bugs filled from active traders not being able to run terminal.exe anymore. Attached you can find a log file spitting out the issues (unsupported memory access) or something. The MetaEditor otoh works perfectly. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Showing a md5sum of a setup file (mt4setup.exe) won't help, since the setup pulls the files from their servers. While the setup usually remains the same (not always true), the contents of the pulled files usually differs. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35906 --- Comment #13 from Ali Akcaagac <aliakc(a)web.de> --- Fedora 20 has released updated RPM's to Wine 1.7.16. So I can confirm, that the reported issues of MetaTrader not being able to start are gone. Either way it was either a MetaTrader issue (MT4 B:625+) or Wine 1.7.13 for Fedora 20 was errorous. http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=509762 -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. If you have time to waste you could try to figure out if Wine or Fedora Wine packaging was broken (which would be upstream resolution then).
