Download, install, wait hours for it to finish (14 GB). Run, let it patch, then you'll get a login prompt. The text of the button to login is corrupted. Native gdiplus fixes it. When comparing the screenshots, I also noticed that the text at the top of the window 'Community', 'Account', 'Support' are nearly solid white with builtin, but have a thicker black border with native gdiplus. But I did go to their site, picked the pc version. Let it install, started it. When it asked about graphics quality I took the better graphics option. I don't see the issue mentioned here. No need to download the game just the installer and when it asked about high resolution version I said yes.

I still see it in wine-1.7.51-181-g8fdcc23, but native gdiplus doesn't help anymore. Doesn't look like the installer has changed afaict.
