Sorry, but i cant confirm this.

Id downloaded the Demo and all installs and runs fine.

Because of BG II Bug i got an updated installshield
    http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=922
and some dlls added because of previous testing wine.
    mfc.dll faultrep.dll winsta.dll
