Please report separate issues in separate bug reports. Bug because this game is also quite old and it looks like it is also from "Terminal Reality studios", I tried to investigate the "Crash 1.b", details in attached file, and think this is bug #59203, and should be fixed in current git or the next wine release. So this report can concentrate only on the installer bug "Crash 1.a on setup.exe". -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59077 --- Comment #3 from Roberto Eick <eick.roberto@gmail.com> --- 1. Sorry for mixing two different bugs in here. 2. Both (this one and #59203) seem to be really fixed for now. 3. I enjoyed a little play time today, really smooth experience (graphics, audio, controls). 3. Nice to see those old MS Games with old DX2 and Win95 tech working nice and clean on Wine on Linux nowadays. 4. I'm really happy with that, big THX for taking a look into that "Herr Uebelacker". -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59077 --- Comment #4 from Roberto Eick <eick.roberto@gmail.com> --- Bug (1.a) 59077 is still present and unresolved (on Wine 11.0 rc5). However #59203 (Monster Truck double free error) fix did made it playable once lauching directly from "partial installation" folder. So in the end of the day the setup.exe appears to properly "install" the game, which indeed launches and performs quite decently now on Wine 11.0 rc5. I had a nice playing experience on the 1st level today, (nice graphics, controls and audio). Window menus and options all seem to work properly. The audio drivers thing could probably be bypassed or hacked somehow at least in order to give a better user experience on setup.exe, easy to say... thx. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
