The program requires IE7, WMP10. Version: 4.2.0158 Release Date: 2010/05/25 Size: 5.35MB Wine output+backtraces are attached for reference. Using native mlang the GUI comes up for me, then crashes a bit later in urlmon. So to recapture: First 'winetricks cc580', then it still crashes. After setting mlang to native then, the GUI comes up fine . hmm, i'll have to correct that again, i was also using native comctl32. So to recapture: First 'winetricks cc580', then it still crashes. After setting mlang to native then, the GUI comes up fine . I'll change component to comctl32, as that seems to make it crash a bit earlier, though not sure
Thanks, I have confirmed your approach works with wine 1.3.1.
