http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10908 Summary: Wine slow to initially open a window Product: Wine Version: CVS/GIT Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: wine-gui AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: tomjamesgillespie(a)googlemail.com Created an attachment (id=9822) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=9822) kernel config Hi all When i try to run an app with wine, the initial window takes about 3 minutes to open, but then runs normally. It does this with all apps that a I have tested. Im running gentoo, wine git and kernel 2.6.23. I have a funny feeling its a kernel problem (i complied it myself, and wine worked fine on ubuntu) so ill attach my kernel config if it will help. If any tests need doing, ill be glad to run them and post the logs. Does this happen with apps like notepad or winemine as well? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
