On a fresh install, many applications and games crash because MSVCP80.dll and
MSVCR80.dll missing.

- New install of GNU/Linux Ubuntu 7.10
- Adding "deb http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt intrepid main" to
sources.list
- Installing wine-1.1.9
- Try to install some games

Messages on console :

Invalid. Wine doesn't provide those DLLs, the game should. If not, use
winetricks:

$ wget kegel.com/wine/winetricks
$ sh winetricks vcrun2005
