Can a administrator remove the useless backtraces? THey makes the bug report unreadable. They are not useless. These are backtraces from every known versions of the games that suffers from this bug.

Here you can see, how unreadable it is ;) One game would be enough and if you think, that these games suffers from different problems, than you should open separate bug report for them - to make things nice, simple and clear. I see your point, one game may be enough. I think it's just a lot of information. And it doesn't hurt. Plus, it should be taken as a proof that this bug, along with bug 22597, is important, as it's preventing us from playing all those games properly.

No such proove. Your setup _can_ be broken. Like above... Put some information and wait if somebody joins and confirm your finding. This can be THE "force". Lot of people sufering from the same problem, not one with many failures = broken wine setup. No such proove. Your setup _can_ be broken. Like above... Put some information and wait if somebody joins and confirm your finding. This can be THE "force". Lot of people sufering from the same problem, not one with many failures = broken wine setup. If you see the AppDB tests data, many people have similar issues (game runs only in 640x480 with audio disabled). Also I tried one game in two different machines, with the same results. I have, yet, to try a different Linux distro and a different video card brand.

have you tried using native dmusic.dll?
if that still fails, instead try native: dmusic, dmime, dmsynth and dmband I've already tried several native dll's with an older version, with no luck. As soon as I can I will follow your advice and try these dll's with a new version. Thanks.

It doesn't fill in anything for the ppPort parameter and hence it tends to be all zeros. If the pointer points to null then according to MSDN this signals that port has been removed.
