The Mozilla ActiveX page,
http://www.iol.ie/~locka/mozilla/plugin.htm
suggests that it's very picky about version of Firefox --
and that download page only has prebuilt plugins
for 1.0.7 and below!  Can you retry with firefox 1.0.7?
