[Bug 30198] New: Diablo 3 fails to install

Attached are the logs from trying to install and then again just running Agent.exe, which is what I believe is crashing. Let me know if I can do anything to help this process, for instance what I have installed through winetricks that would be good to know. Running it from windows via putty will break things. They are effectively fixing the installer/agent problems. (followed the guide here: http://wiki.winehq.org/WineOn64bit#head-245e8f90708da8070a4f3cbe336254c712af...) Patches appeared to have applied correctly. The installer now loads up and as stated it simply says it will not install until it is released. Resolved by patches.
Sorry, a bug can only be marked as fixed when the patches get in the wine tree. Unfortunately by now none of those patches went in AFAIK. One of them [1] is still in the patch queue and I could not find the other one. Your comment 11 will surely help others having the same issue. For now this bug should be remarked as open.
