http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=30222 Bug #: 30222 Summary: Symantec VIP Access can not be activated - take 2 Product: Wine Version: 1.5.0 Platform: Other URL: http://www.symantec.com/products/trialware.jsp?pcid=pc at_info_risk_comp&pvid=vip_1 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: winhttp AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: robert.munteanu(a)gmail.com Classification: Unclassified As a follow-up to bug #29891 , after installing Symantec VIP Access the user is required to accept a license agreement and activate the program. I see only successful requests in that log. Can you confirm that the bug is gone with native winhttp? If so, please attach a +winhttp,+relay,+tid trace.
No, I still get an activation error with native winhttp. I set the component since a comment on the first bug indicated that native winhttp makes the activation work. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Therefore I've attached a snippet of .xsession-errors taken after trying to activate. The first part is bringing up the application window, and the section after the dashed lines is the actual attempt to activate. This was on Wine 1.5.0, 32 bit, with no overrides. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

That bug was marked duplicate of bug 37972 that is still open. So it's quite safe to assume that this is still an issue 1.7.54 -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
