Final error upon execution attempt gives the following error: "An error occurred when loading user settings." The same error occurs after reinstall attempts through wine in both versions 1.6x and 1.7x (beta). That bug was fixed in 1.7.45, and your logs show you are using 1.7.44, so you obviously need to upgrade Wine. There are no errors that provide backtraces now that I compiled and used wine-1.7.45 only an OLE error.
