It just terminates on this step. It also can't show any windows disks. I found this file: http://ascon.net/en/download/kompas/
But authorization or registration is required to download.
I downloaded it from here (Reg form is simple there, but all in russian): http://home.kompas.ru/download/ You can also download it from the link you mentioned. Thanks to it I found that the problem was in the path of installation files (.msi). The path contained russian symbols (Though I was sure I've tested also under "~/") But this problem is not obvious to solve. If there is no such bug opened I think this one shouldn't be closed. The trace is huge, archive is more than 1M.
