Word of advice, if I may :) Please don't change the Wine version when updating a bug reports as knowing how long this has been going on really helps the developers :) -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. I like the general idea but I think it is worth to change when the original report is done with really ancient wine version even there is a lot newer available. All bugs should be opened against development version. So all the new features and regression fixes would eventually land into next stable. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39945 --- Comment #4 from winetest(a)luukku.com --- Could this be some keyboard lag issue? I noticed that keeping v pressed it draws a marker. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39945 --- Comment #5 from winetest(a)luukku.com --- Valid wine 2.0rc5, and staging 2.0rc4. Keeping v pressed redraws the marker until you definitely see it, but it looks like there is some keyboard lag, because it keeps drawing the marker even you dont press the v anymore. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39945 --- Comment #6 from curaga(a)operamail.com --- On Win 3.11, pressing V once shows the cross for a short time, around a second or so. Keeping it pressed shows it until you let go. On Wine, the first press is described in the OP, keeping it pressed causes 100% cpu usage, and after letting the key go, it still hasn't drawn the cross as many times as the program requested, so this causes the lag. So not related to the keyboard, rather it's the drawing layer's fault. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
