This is not the way it's supposed to work. I want to hear the default tracks. There is one stuation where the jukebox plays 1 (default) track, that is when you do a mission and enter a room where there are many agressive npc battleships waiting for you. After the track finishes the music is gone again until the forementioned situation happens again. More clarification needed:
I mean the workaround of renaming the Jukebox dir or disabling sound altogether does not resolve the crashing at the character selection screen just before loading the game environment. i love you mate !!! this solution have also helped me Getting the jukebox working is problematic on 64Bit Linux installs. Most probably you are missing a appropriate libmp123. I do not want to go into detail. A quick fix is to use winetricks to install MS Windows Media Player 9 and link the mp3codec so it can be used. in commands: winetricks wmp9 [assuming your have wineprefix set the default way] cd cd .wine/drive_c/windows/system32/ ln -sf l3codeca.acm winemp3.acm Restart EVE your jukebox should be operational now. What you talking about? The EVE-browser didn't work for me, but only because at me in Debian amd64 the package lib32nss-mdns hasn't been installed. IE for this purpose I didn't install. OR IE has including in wine by default? P.S. So basicaly it is as if you had Google Chrome inside Eve. Before that, Eve used a custom and very simple Gecko. Browser has nothing to do with this bug. (In reply to comment #39)

On my Gentoo box libmpg123.so.0.25.5 solved the crashes.
