In current git it crashes. winetricks cc580 works around the crash. Please run a regression test from 0.9.17 to 1.1.7 (per comment 1).
Well, i don't think that's useful anymore. In current git the crash is gone and the app starts, though it takes quite a long time to start, and there's a suspicious line in the console: err:imagelist:IMAGELIST_InternalExpandBitmaps creating new image bitmap (x=17408 y=16)! What memory amount do you have?
However, the app doesn't crash anymore, and the long start time is yet another issue so I consider this bug as fixed for now
For me on virtualized box with 512MB it's killed: --- fixme:bitmap:CreateBitmapIndirect planes = 0 fixme:bitmap:CreateBitmapIndirect planes = 0 fixme:bitmap:CreateBitmapIndirect planes = 0 err:imagelist:IMAGELIST_InternalExpandBitmaps creating new image bitmap (x=17408 y=16)!
