Program: C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. (screen shot available) This happens with using the "env WINEPREFIX" and also when using wine without. This was not experienced with the version of wine provided with Fedora 10 (1.1.15) or before. Game terminates after selecting char upon trying to log into world. Please try to get a backtrace http://wiki.winehq.org/Backtraces - it's not clear if that other bug is the same, there's no mention of the same error message or any terminal output in the newer one.
I'm unable to get a backtrace..as soon as I attach the process EverQuest locks up..nothing responds until I close out the winedbg terminaland that takes EverQuest with it.. I'm running wine on Mandriva 2010 x86-64 powerpack. vid card i sa ATI 3850hd agp newest fglrx driver no composite enabled. This is an EQ bug. It occurs under WinXP as well. rm *.ini in the Everquest folder and run Everquest.exe. That fixed it for me. Running wine 1.1.32-1 on FC12 x86_64.
