Hello,

When launching Setup.exe to install Heroes of Might and Magic IV from the
complete CD (H4Complete Game for ever edition), it simply crashes displaying a
"Close window" exception and I don't know why.

I'm running it with the latest wine version (1.3.8) on my 10.04 Ubuntu.

Could you help me finding out what's going on ?

I've launched the following commands :
$ uname -a
Linux graffity-desktop 2.6.32-24-generic-pae #39-Ubuntu SMP Wed Jul 28 07:39:26
UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux
$ wine --version
wine-1.3.8
$ WINEDEBUG=+trace,+seh,+tid,+relay wine /media/H4Complete/FR/_setup/Setup.exe
2> /tmp/Setup-HeroesMightMagicIV.txt
$ lzma -9 /tmp/Setup-HeroesMightMagicIV.txt

You'll find as attachement the generated log.

After having followed your advice, it still doesn't work

Here are the commands :
$ cd /media/H4Complete/FR/_setup/

After having installed wine-1.3.9, it still doesn't work

Was this installed into a clean .wine directory?

Looks like it's crashing in comctl32 after calling 
mlang.GetGlobalFontLinkObject().  Hmm.

Hello Dan,

I've juste retested to launch the setup after having renamed the .wine
directory and it is working !

Don't know what was wrong but it is solved by now.
I close the bug.
