quick fix:
http://www.codec-download.de/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewsdownload&s...
Download a mp3 codec. Copy it to to system32 and rename it to winemp3.acm.
Then set a override for winemp3.acm in winecfg.
Voila! Everything works. :D
