http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13549 Summary: Impossible to install VB6 and using programmes who are generated on it. Product: Wine Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: blocker Priority: P5 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: alex.mic(a)bluewin.ch Hello, I wanted to install Visual Basic 6 on my Ubuntu today. When I launch the installer an error message comes and says I must have minimal the third service Pack of Windows NT. What can I do for installing VB6? I can not use programms that I created on Visual basic, but they are not complicated programms. The do not use DLL's or other things like that. How can I do for using simple executables like that ? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

ANY VB program, also the ones created with Enterprise Edition, which are really compiled, depends on it! Hint: If the problem then still persists, try to set the Windows version in winecfg higher. And what version are you running? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
