The problem affects 1.3.9 too. Please don't run Wine as root, it's unnecessary.
From the log, it looks like /media/GAMEDISK is mounted noexec which could be the cause for the problem, ie. it should work fine if you run it elsewhere or remount without the noexec flag. But the result of the regression test will show why it used to work.

I remounted that partition as exec and Postal 2 works now perfectly with the latest (1.3.9) wine, thanks a lot man! :) As for the root running, i run my desktop as root and my console too, but that does not matter, wine run as root and non-root too, right.
