Tried under wine-1.7.17-129-gb84e112.

1. Start winecfg
2. Click on Libraries tab
3. Type "dbghelp" under "New override for library:" (don't hit Enter)
4. Click "Add"

=> winecfg hangs

Not hanging here. I get a popup warning me that changing the load order is not
recommended and asking if I want to do it anyway, click yes, the override is
added.

Oddly enough I only get it when I type the exact "dbghelp" word in it.

Now I retried a couple of times and it doesn't occur anymore (I got the warning
popup).

Maybe the warning popup wasn't visible but somehow active?

Anyway I'll leave this bug open for the time being so I can see if some people
can reproduce.
I'll also retest regularly and check if it happens again (and close this bug if
not).

Hello folks,

I can't reproduce this either.

Use a "lightweight" trace every time you want to reproduce for getting some
information about overall system startup behaviour before the actual hang:

$ WINEDEBUG=+tid,+seh,+loaddll,+process,+msgbox winecfg

If you get the hang, please use 'winedbg' to create a backtrace of all threads
('bt all').

Changing summary because you can't reproduce it by yourself.
