Is it already installed in your prefix? What happens if you use a clean prefix? Is it already installed in your prefix? No, I run wine directly from the dir I compiled it (I don't use the Gentoo package just b/c of http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17324 which happened for some 1.1.2X releases too)
What happens if you use a clean prefix? Probably I've to give it a try ?
