I can't reproduce this comctl32 crash here. I used 64 bit Wine only, the app runs decently but it often hangs when loading a VST (but this often happens with VST that cause issues with other applications, too). I had not your terminal output with 1.1.30, I am waiting the .31 to be available on Wine apt repository in order to test it.
Ok. Output could differ entirely, Wine64 isn't very usable yet as I know.
