Then I checked the GNOME Menu and saw an uninstaller; clicked it. I got an message that Uninstaller has detected that WInToUSB.exe is running. Why would one need DirectX recipes for Windows To USB stick creator app? Are you using a shared WINEPREFIX? Please don't do that. Use a clean (new!) WINEPREFIX without any native overrides unless they really needed to work around known bugs. This applies to all your bug reports and bug reports you commented on. Additionally using Wine-Staging to report/test bugs against mainline Wine is questionable. The Wine-Staging project has a large number of patches applied which potentially leads to different observed behavior compared to mainline Wine.
