I have the same behavior on wine 1.6 and wine 1.7.50, Ubuntu 14.04.3. Hi I am having the same issue on evernote 5.8.13 (haven't tried 5.9) when trying to open nested notes inside tags. I have the same behavior on wine 1.6 and wine 1.7.50, Ubuntu 14.04.3.

It will not do that if you install 5.8.13 into a 32-bit container running as Windows XP.
