I installed wine 1.6 and installed Sonos windows controller 4.1, but i am not able to launch the sonos controller now. It does not page fault, but nothing happens either. where I can get some log files from? I am on Ubuntu 13.04 32 bit

Updated wine version as 1.6
Tried getting log file and backtrace with the commands in the FAQ, but each time the log file was 0 bytes. Used these commands:
$ wine ./Sonos.exe &>log.txt
$ WINEDEBUG=+relay,+seh,+tid $ wine ./Sonos.exe >> log.txt 2>&1
What gives?

I first grabbed the wine 1.7.6 installation from the wine PPA using: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install wine1.7 wine1.7-i386 Then, I re-ran the Sonos installer and selected the "repair" option inside its InstallShield. The app installs and starts fine. Upon start it scans for Sonos components in network. I don't have any Sonos equipment so this obviously fails.
