Wine can have a link to the Wine website in /users/Alice/Favorites/ It should be .url files. It is empty. Microsoft provides some default .url files in there. So why shouldn't you? It would provide better integration, as the Wine link would appear in Explorer, Internet Explorer and other file managers, browsers and other software that imports favorites/bookmarks from the Favorites folder in the user's home directory. Why the hell would any web browser want to add a favorite link to the Wine website. It does not make any sense. It is the Wine project who should add the link.

Invalid, Wine doesn't have browser. But you can run Internet Explorer (and maybe other browsers that store the favorites in the same place) on Wine.

Right, and they have their own set of favourites, and don't care to ask whether you like it or not. In any case, if you wish some site appear in favorites of your browser, either add it by hands, or send a patch/complaint to your browser developers. No, in Wine interests is to make Wine code work better. Everything else is outside of the Wine project.
Wrong! We do integration in the "host-system" and also into the programs we could run.
