You can try to cancel (sketchup has a message box with a cancel button), but if you do, sketchup hangs. The hang is not really a hang - Google Earth on Wine is just really, really, really slow at importing the image." Sure enough, that change makes the crash go away. It seems to work perfectly in latest Wine (1.1.26).
