Using a virtual desktop (of any size) stops this occurring. The game itself "escapes" the virtual desktop and runs in full screen, but this turns out to be a good thing. My process: 1. Install demo (used WINEARCH=win32 but that's not necessary). 2. Set resolution to 1920x1200. 3. Start a skirmish. 4. Alt-tab out. 5. Alt-tab back in. 011c:fixme:faultrep:ReportFault 0031E800 0x0 stub Same with 720p and 1080p.
