I installed some scripting via winetricks and also ie8. The program installs, but at launch it complains about corrupted files. You can already see some interface drawn. Unfortunately it's a bootstrapper, requiring Internet for additional payload install. The original site is gone: download.cdn.bearshare.com https://web.archive.org/web/20170327213810/http://bearshare.com/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BearShare --- quote --- As of June 12, 2016, BearShare is no longer available to download. The official page with a message announcing its discontinuation remained active until March 2017. --- quote --- Resolving 'abandoned' here.
