[Bug 15026] New: Ableton Live: Glitches in right channel of mp3 imports

I think these are introduced in the import stage because they appear in the waveform view, zooming in shows that these are a high frequency square wave. This seems to happen mostly on mp3s from beatport.com, I have tried loading the files into live running on windows xp and they are fine. I'm running Wine 1.1.3 on gentoo amd64. I'm now running ubuntu8.10 64 bit. I found a workaround; installing iTunes under a 1.0 (stable) version of wine then updating to the latest wine version and installing ableton live make it use the iTunes mp3 decoder.
