[Bug 21170] New: Wineserver and winemenubuilder use 50/50 % of cpu everytime.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21170 Summary: Wineserver and winemenubuilder use 50/50 % of cpu everytime. Product: Wine Version: 1.1.35 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: critical Priority: P2 Component: wineserver AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: goshishka(a)gmail.com Wineserver and winemenubuilder use 50/50 % of cpu. Because of that everything works slow or doesn't work at all (Cossacks 2, iTunes, Spotify and ofcourse all linux applications). Somebody says that reason is cyrillic but there is no cyrillic in spotify, for example. When application shuts down wineserver and winemenubuilder still work. I don't know what to do, cause as you see this problem is only wine problem. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

In some situation X.org shuts down. That doesn't matter do you use application or close it, wineserver and winemenubuilder use 50/50 % of cpu if they already launch. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

So far it is just you who has reported this problem, it would be critical if it affected all users. Kill it (winemenubuilder) and run wine notepad. Exit it. Does winemenubuilder stays running? Yeah, it's still running, but I noticed that if I end winemenubuilder process wineserver starts use 0-1% of cpu. (I think you speak russian, so I can explain my problem in it for better understanding :) )
