You run the setup.exe and it loads the installer background and the form (alien vs preadator 2 is configuring the install shiled wizard etc etc) the prograss bar get a little over 3/4 done then it freezes. Does it work with wine-0.9.52?
I've tested this in wine-0.9.52 and can confirm that this problem is not present. As I suspected before testing, this is without a doubt a duplicate of bug 11174.
