Dialog windows opens behind the foremost active image. Dialog windows such as
"Save change changes before closing image?"-dialog, sometimes the brushes
dialog, "the save for web"-dialog etc.
It's a hassle to move around images just so you can access the dialog-windows.



Photoshop CS2 in wine 1.0 rc2
Ubuntu studio 8.04 64-bit.
No X-compositor such as compiz running.

Yes, but without composition.
I presume it's a metacity or Gnome-bug then? How can I mend it from that end?

I'm confirming this bug is still present in Wine 1.1.3 on Ubuntu 8.04.1,
Metacity, enabled decoration of Wine windows.

This bug is fixed in Wine 1.1.6.

It's best to use Photoshop with enabled "Allow the window manager to control
the windows" in Winecfg, but the messages appear properly now, not under the
window, no matter what option you'll check.

Tested with Metacity, Ubuntu 8.04, 177.80 nvidia drivers.
