Total War: ROME II clearly demonstrates this problem. It shows the gfx card in the options screen. The output of lspci is attached. The offending source file looks to be wine/dlls/wined3d/wined3d_private.h System specs: Linux Mint 16 Cinnamon (64 bit) PlayOnLinux 4.2.1 Wine 1.7.11 32 bit Samsung 840 PRO 256gb (Boot drive, TRIM enabled) MSI Z87-G41 PC MATE MSI GTX 760 TF (2gb) Nvidia drivers 331.38 Core i7-4770k @ stock 16gB DDR3 -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Looks like if your device's PCI ID is unknown to the Wine directx driver, but supports DX10, it falls back to 8800. Here's a patch that includes my EVGA GTX 760's device ID.
